Pramila Tamang Favourite style of clothing: Casual “Smile, it is the key that fits the lock of everybody's heart.” Working the floor is not an easy task. Sometimes we have days when there are just so many customers coming in that we have to look after more than one customer at a time, and there are days when we hardly have any customers. I have met many wonderful people in my years of working the floor. Always wearing a smile has helped me get to work with my customers better. Even if I am not in such a great mood, I feel that customers do not deserve to see such an attitude, so I always greet them with a smile. Doing so makes me feel better as well! |

Working with clothes was an ideal job for me as I was and still am very much interested in fashion, and that too at DS! Work was tough but I grew to learn and make myself better with time. Sales is my priority job but I’ve also gotten to learn the stock-keeping aspects and work in overseas projects. I like that DS helps us grow in other areas as well. Everyone here is so supportive of each other and give each other great advice. Of course, we do get into fights but we make up like all families do. We have a great relationship with each other here. Just like how my relation with the DS family is great, I feel that we have to create that kind of relationship with our customers so that they can be comfortable with us and ask for and trust our advice. |

At home, I have been a good girl doing well in my studies as well as helping out with the chores. Bein an introvert, I was worried about working outside my home but working at DS proved to be an easier feat than anticipated. The didis here were very supportive when I first came here and showed me the ropes. I feel that everyone helps each other here. In working at DS I found that I could talk to people more easily now which is an accomplishment for me, although I am still a bit shy. But I am able to deal well with my customers now. It is probably because of my experience of 2 years now which has enabled me to gather as much information as I can about the fashion world and allowed me to give good advice to my customers in return. |

For my position, I have to interact with many customers on different social media platforms - Facebook, Instagram, Viber, website etc. While we do try to reply to as many and as quickly as possible, it’s not always possible.
